Description
The IN-TERM RTC-70 black mechanical thermostat provides precise control for electric underfloor heating systems of all types, including cable, film, and aluminum mats. It is capable of handling a load of up to 3200 W (16 A), which covers approximately 15-20 m² of flooring. The thermostat includes a remote temperature sensor that is 3 meters long with a nominal value of 10 kΩ at 25°C. The sensor is installed in a corrugated tube in the floor.
Control:
The IN-TERM RTC70 model features mechanical temperature control. Temperature adjustments are made by turning the control knob, with a temperature range from 5 to 40°C. The thermostat is turned on and off using a mechanical switch. The advantage of mechanical control is that the thermostat automatically returns to the previous temperature setting after power interruptions.
Installation:
The device is installed in a standard 60 mm diameter junction box. It is recommended to use recessed mounting boxes with screws for easier wiring. The thermostat is secured to the junction box with screws included in the kit.
