Description
The IN-TERM RTC-70 white mechanical thermostat is designed for controlling electric underfloor heating systems of all types: cable, film, aluminum mats, etc. The thermostat is rated for a load of 3200 W (16 A), which is equivalent to approximately 15-20 m² of underfloor heating. The thermostat comes with a remote temperature sensor that is 3 meters long with a nominal value of 10 kΩ at 25°C. The sensor is installed directly into the floor in a 9/12 corrugated tube (not included with the thermostat but supplied with the underfloor heating system).
Control:
The IN-TERM RTC70 model features mechanical control. Temperature adjustment is made by turning the control knob. The temperature range is from 5 to 40°C. The thermostat is turned on and off using a mechanical switch. The advantage of mechanical control is that the thermostat returns to the previous temperature setting after power outages, unlike programmable thermostats where settings may be lost during extended power interruptions.
Installation:
The device is installed in a standard 60 mm diameter junction box. It is recommended to use recessed mounting boxes with mounting screws to simplify the wiring process to the thermostat. The thermostat is fixed to the junction box using screws provided with the junction box.
